Mom's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 and 1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 cup canned pumpkin
1 cup chocolate chips
2 and 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375F. Combine dry ingredients, spices, and chocolate chips in a bowl. Set Aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, stir until incorporated. Scrape down sides of mixer as needed. Add pumpkin and mix to combine. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, until just combined.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheets for 10 minutes.
